The Great California Shakeout
This Thursday, Gardner will join all other California schools in the Great California Shakeout. We will go through all of our emergency preparedness in case of an earthquake. Students will spend time outside seated on the lower yard, as staff go through all protocols. So we advise kids bringing a towel to sit on and a hat to wear. During the shakeout, the school will be locked and we will not be letting visitors in or out during that time, so if you're attending the FoG meeting, please be out by 9:45 AM.
Less than two weeks til the Halloween Carnival!
The countdown is on and tickets are going on sale this week! Look for the ticket table outside the glass doors or purchase them online by clicking here. We also need you to sign up to work at this carnival! Parents are the ones who will make this event happen, and without you, the Eeek Show rolls out of town early. This is our biggest event of the year and we need all hands on deck, so please don't rely on other parents to do it. We need YOU or we can't continue to have the carnival we know and love. CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR A SHIFT.
If you absolutely cannot help with volunteering, please help us by ordering something from our Amazon wish list! CLICK HERE TO ORDER NOW.
REMINDERS
Gardner Green every Wednesday!
Don't forget to bring your CLEANED OUT aluminum cans, glass and plastic bottles for recycling and place them at the glass doors or Gardner gate at drop off. The Green Team will take it to be recycled and get cash back for Gardner. Please be respectful and make sure it's cleaned out. Help Gardner AND the planet!
