It's Carnival Week!
We want to remind everyone that the carnival ONLY happens with parent volunteers. The parents are the ones creating the decor, booking the food and games, organizing the entire event, AND working the event. We need many more of you to step up and help us make it happen. There are lots of volunteer jobs open and if we can't fill them all, we will have to shut down booths. So please sign up now by clicking here! Fang you so much for participating!
Parking restrictions are lifted on Friday so that you can enjoy the event freely. But please note red zones are still red zones and you will be ticketed or towed. Please read all of our Halloween instructions below thoroughly, because there is a lot happening that day and we need patience to allow it all to move smoothly.

All Tuesdays are early dismissal days!

Gardner Costume Parade
 2:15 on the lower yard
Before the carnival, we start Halloweening with our costume parade! Starting at 2:15 PM, kids will parade around the track on the lower yard in their Halloween costumes. Students are to BRING their costumes to school, not wear them, and then will be given a chance to change into them before the parade. Please nothing too scary that will frighten our tiniest ones, and no faux weapons.
Parents are welcome to attend the parade to applaud these little monsters as they walk by. Please enter by the Gardner Gate to watch the parade. After the parade, we will dismiss as usual, with parents picking up TK-1st grade in their classrooms and 2nd-5th on the yard. We then HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to exit the Gardner Gate and then walk around the corner to enter the carnival through our grand entrance. It's a once-a-year treat that you don't want to miss. And our official welcome to BITE NIGHT!
BITE NIGHT! Gardner's Annual Halloween Carnival!
 3 - 6 PM
Join us for BITE NIGHT! Dracula's Dinner Party and our annual Halloween Carnival. It's going to be a bloody great time and you don't want to miss it. Beginning promptly at 3 PM! Come through Dracula's grand entrance at the front of the school and then enjoy games, food, face painting, a haunted house, a DJ, and lots of fun surprises.
Games will be on the lower yard, and food and the haunted house will be on the upper yard. If and when you're working a shift, please show up right before your start time. We cannot run checks on every booth, so we need parents to be accountable for showing up and getting it started.
BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW! Admission is free, but all food and activities are purchased with tickets. You can buy your tickets every day, before and after school at the glass doors AND online now by clicking here! Thursday is the last day to buy online tickets and get your ticket bundles. Remember all proceeds pay for our art, music, PE and garden programs! We hope you all come and sink your teeth into this once-a-year bite of fun. Mwahahahaha...
And the winner of the ACFC tickets is....
Kindergartener Issac and his family! They purchased their carnival tickets last week and were entered to win ACFC tickets with their early bird purchase. We hope they enjoyed the game today!
