A note from Principal Cabrera
The safety and well-being of our students is always our top priority. In alignment with the Los Angeles Unified School District’s visitor policy, I want to remind all members of our community of the expectations for conduct while on campus.
Visitors, which means anyone on campus that is not staff during school hours, are not permitted to address behavior, or discipline any child other than their own, at any time. All matters regarding student behavior or discipline must be handled by school staff. In addition, visitors are not allowed to verbally address any staff member in a negative manner, nor physically touch any student or staff member in ANY manner - regardless of your intention.
Any violation of this policy may result in the issuance of a “Disruptive Person Letter” and restriction of campus access. This step is necessary to ensure that our school remains a safe and respectful environment for every child.
We welcome and value our parents and community members, and your support is essential to creating a positive school environment. Thank you for partnering with us to maintain a campus where every student feels safe, respected, and ready to learn. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to the main office.

Legendary Bingo is coming!
Our Annual (adults-only) Drag Queen Bingo event is coming on October 1st! At this time, we are asking for donations that we could put in gift bags (new items), such as gift cards, reusable water bottles, sunglasses, gift certificates, tickets to events, a case of wine, makeup, merch, etc etc. We will organize donations by theme for each bag. All proceeds go to fund our PE, Music, Garden and Art classes, which are NOT funded by the district. Please bring items to the Parent Center, labeled with BINGO/PM! Thank you!
Volunteers needed!
We need YOU, Gardner! It takes a lot of collective effort to run Gardner as smoothly as it does, but only requires a little bit of time from each person. Please pitch in where you can! We have a new list of volunteer opportunities on our website. Click here to read about them and how to get started.
Gardner Give - PE vs MUSIC
PE and music are neck and neck right now in our first flash Gardner Give.
PE - $1350
MUSIC - $1700
General Fund - $3700
As a reminder, these programs cost us $40 a month per student to fund, and we can't do it without 100% participation from Gardner families. We don't care what you give, we just need you to give SOMETHING. Which does your family prefer - and how much can you give to fund it? We need you and appreciate you and hope you will give generously. This contest ends September 26th, so give to your favorite now! Click here to give!
